Monday in Jacksonville

We spent a fast 2 1/2 days in Jacksonville visiting Matt. On Monday, we had a great time with Matt and Yemila. We met them at out hotel when Matt finished work - around 1:00. When I said I would like fish for lunch, Yemila recommended the restaurant where she works, Mitchell's Fish Market. It was fabulous. She and I had a Spinach Salad (with bacon, Georgia pecans, red onion, Granny Smith apples, and Gorgonzola cheese) and blackened salmon. Matt had a steak (go figure), and Joe had Blackened Grouper. After lunch, we walked around the area and window shopped, until it was time to see the movie Marley and Me. Following the movie, we went to dinner at Applebee's - certainly a step down from Mitchell's. It was a fun day - although we had to cut it short so Matt could get up for work on Tuesday.
